MISSION

We aspire to make Anawim Lay Mission Foundation, Inc. the leading provider of Christian homes, care, rehabilitation, evangelization, and counseling for the poor and abandoned elderly in the Philippines. With the help of the skilled and dedicated staff, we hope to create sustainable communities and fulfill our obligation to help those in need. We are committed to serving those living in our communities with the outmost respect, and pledge to provide them with accommodations that will show them to lead meaningful lives.

VISION

Anawim wants to become a sanctuary for the abandoned elderly, and eventually for other rejected in the society.

GOALS & OBJECTIVES

To build a center for refuge & healing for the elderly who are abandoned in society.

To help God’s poor to live a more humane life – whenever we may find them – according to the faith & resources the Lord will give us.

To conduct one on one and/or counseling programs, focus group discussions, therapy / productivity activities and other activities for the purpose of communicating ideas, developing skills, changing attitudes or modifying behavior related to the achievement of better standards of living.

To conduct bible studies and other catechetical courses to help them discover God and or bring them to a fervent relationship with Him.

To engage in sustainable projects to sustain the needs of the elderly.

To engage in such other activities as may be necessary or incidental to the objective of assisting the neglected, rejected, and abandoned elderly of the society.

Finding respite in God’s loving arms through regular prayers and reflection.

1-on-1 Counseling

Loneliness is a common problem that older people face. This problem is heavier for abandoned and rejected elderly.

You may send your donations directly to Anawim Lay Missions in Rodriguez, Rizal (please let us know before dropping by, so we can check current health protocols for this). Visits to Anawim are on an appointment basis, and are subject to the prevailing health protocol at the time of your scheduled visit.

The Sponsor A Meal campaign aims to provide better food for our abandoned elderly. 
Through the Sponsor A Meal Campaign, our kitchen is able to have 
additional funds to finance good meals for the Anawim lolos and lolas.

For a minimum amount of 15,000 PhP, you will be able to sponsor a good meal for our 70 elderly, the staff of Anawim, and your team.
